Resource and Referral

Resource and referral services provide employees with information and counseling about available child care options. This service includes consumer education about choosing child care, child care financial assistance, and work/family strategies. Mid-Coast Resource Development Center offers this service free to the public through a toll-free phone line and through its web site. This service can also be offered at an enhanced level for employers through corporate contracts. Enhanced referrals provide the family with more in depth information regarding the child care program and also reassures the family that the program has current vacancies.
